Chevron to provide traffic management for Ringway in Milton Keynes

As well as providing traffic management for Ringway’s Buckinghamshire and East Cheshire highways contracts, Chevron has now secured a deal to provide TM for Ringway throughout Milton Keynes.

Ringway has been contracted to manage, maintain and improve highways and related assets, including street lighting, under the seven-year contract. The new highways contract worth a total of £10-20 million per year is extendable for a further three years. In addition to undertaking all routine and cyclical highways maintenance, the contract also includes for highways safety inspections and the construction of schemes up to a value of £1 million, with the potential for schemes greater than £1 million to also be ordered.

Dale Hicks, Area manager commented “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to further extend our relationship with Ringway and look forward to working with them on this contract”.

A404 Resurfacing

Could I say a big thank you to yourselves and to all your crews which were on site at the A404 Resurfacing scheme last night. I have spoken to the Tarmac site supervisor from the Chieveley depot this morning who was very appreciative of how helpful and how good it was to work with the crew that was on site.
