Chevron and the Area 9 TM Team highly commended at the recent Highways England Supplier awards

Chevron and the Area 9 TM Team highly commended at the recent annual Highways England Supplier Recognition Scheme awards.

The scheme highlights the contribution made by Highways England suppliers who help modernise, maintain and operate the strategic road network in England. This year’s awards were held in Birmingham on 24th February 2017.

The Area 9 TM Team were shortlisted and highly commended in the category for Supply Chain Management; Highways England seeks to recognise suppliers that demonstrate embedment of the organisations strategic agenda, values and principles through their supply chains. The Team consisting of Chevron TM, Kier Highways, HTM, Golden Orb and Consilium provide a fully integrated Traffic Management service from design and development through to delivery for the Highways England Asset Support Contract (ASC):

Creation of a ‘one team approach’ to TM deliver within Highways England Area 9
The first Traffic Management team to achieve the BS11000 accreditation for collaborative working
Achieving client (Highways England) objectives in efficiency, developing lessons learnt with a focus on customer journey improvements

A404 Resurfacing

Could I say a big thank you to yourselves and to all your crews which were on site at the A404 Resurfacing scheme last night. I have spoken to the Tarmac site supervisor from the Chieveley depot this morning who was very appreciative of how helpful and how good it was to work with the crew that was on site.
