The Novus Barrier is a heavy-duty, water-filled barrier system for site safety, security, and controlled traffic/pedestrian flow across construction sites, highways, utilities, and events. Its core purpose is to create clear, safe boundaries that prevent unauthorised access and guide movement through busy or hazardous areas.
Built from UV-stabilised MDPE, Novus combines durability with practical handling. Each unit is lightweight when empty (25 kg) for easy positioning and ballast-filled on site (water or sand) to 180 kg for dependable stability. The system is designed for low-maintenance use in demanding outdoor conditions.
Novus features tight 90° cornering with no gaps, secure interlocking joins, and a stackable profile for efficient transport and storage. It’s also compatible with accessories for added height, visibility, and access control (see Accessories below).
