Firmus Barriers

Firmus Barriers are Chapter 8 compliant pedestrian barriers designed to deliver safe, visible, and reliable protection in public spaces and work environments. Used widely for pedestrian management, crowd control, pedestrian control, and pedestrian delineation, they are equally at home at events, roadworks, street works, construction sites, or when closing off areas for safety.

Available in two models — the Firmus Professional Barrier and the Firmus Barrier — both share a strong, durable build, high visibility reflective strips, and a universal hook-and-eye connection system. They are stackable up to 50 units, offer Class C wind resistance (around 19–20 mph), and are available with anti-trip foot options for pedestrian safety.

The Firmus Professional Barrier is the newer, upgraded design, adding features that improve handling, durability, and usability, while the Firmus Barrier remains a proven, cost-effective choice for reliable everyday deployment.

Firmus Professional Barrier

The Firmus Professional Barrier represents the next generation of Firmus design, with an aerodynamic profile and improved usability. It is made from recycled HDPE (UV stabilised) with over 96% recycled content and supplied in orange as standard, with black or hi-vis yellow anti-trip feet.

Extra features include a class-leading unbreakable spigot system, new lifting handles, a permit signage mount, and sandbag grippers built into the feet. It also offers a larger embossed branding area and enhanced stackability, with up to 50 barriers fitting securely on a pallet.

Firmus Barrier

The Firmus Barrier is a durable, versatile pedestrian barrier that combines high visibility with simple, effective deployment. Supplied in orange or red as standard, it features standard feet or anti-trip feet, and is fully compliant with Chapter 8 requirements.

It can be used free-standing on paths and roads, or across uneven ground, and includes sandbag retention ridges on the feet for added stability. Like the Professional version, it is stackable up to 50 units and can be embossed with company branding for easy identification.
