Chevron Traffic Management, part of Ramudden Global UK, has received the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award, the highest level of recognition available to organisations that demonstrate outstanding and sustained support for the Armed Forces community.
The Gold Award recognises employers that actively support serving personnel, Reservists, veterans, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers and military families through their employment practices, workplace policies and wider advocacy.
Chevron Traffic Management is one of 162 organisations across the UK to receive the award in 2026, joining employers from the public, private and voluntary sectors that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the Armed Forces community.
The achievement reflects a coordinated effort from across Chevron Traffic Management and the wider Ramudden Global UK business, led by our People Team, to ensure that members of the Armed Forces community are welcomed, supported and given opportunities to build successful careers.
This includes developing supportive employment policies, recognising the valuable skills and experience that veterans and Reservists bring to the workplace, and creating an environment in which colleagues can balance their civilian careers with their military commitments.
The award also reflects the business’s wider commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant and its principle that those who serve, have served, and their families should be treated fairly and should not face disadvantage as a result of their connection to the Armed Forces.
Darren Gagan, People Director at Ramudden Global UK, said:
“Receiving the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award is an incredibly proud moment for Chevron Traffic Management and the wider Ramudden Global UK business."
“While the work has been led by our People Team, achieving Gold has required commitment and support from colleagues across the business. It reflects the culture we are continuing to build and the importance we place on recognising the skills, experience and contribution of the Armed Forces community."
“This award is not the end of that work. It strengthens our commitment to continuing to support our Armed Forces colleagues, developing inclusive employment practices and encouraging other organisations to do the same.”
Chevron Traffic Management will formally receive the award at the prestigious Gold Award Ceremony in September.
