SVEA Barrier System
A Safe, Versatile, Engineered and Advanced temporary vehicle restraint system
The SVEA Barrier System is a new generation of temporary vehicle restraint, designed, engineered, and manufactured in Sweden. Concrete construction in a sturdy steel frame, SVEA redefines safety in urban areas and construction sites, providing safer working conditions for workers and protection for motorised traffic and the public.
The SVEA Barrier System is significantly quicker to install than traditional temporary vehicle barriers. This is largely due to its unique connection detail requiring no loose parts. This unique feature not only allows rapid connection of barriers, but also other accessories, like the SoundPanel, which reduces noise from sites by up to 24dB.
With fewer component parts, our SVEA Barrier System delivers 10-20% lower transport costs and 50% shorter installation times, with less risk of injuries.

Features and Benefits
-
10-20% lower transport costs and 50% shorter installation time.
-
Shorter minimum tested length required on site.
-
Time saving – quick and safe connection of barriers with no loose parts. No need to anchor barriers to the ground.
-
SVEA SoundPanel – Anti-climb up to 5m. Noise and privacy protection up to 4m.
-
CE-certified and crash-tested in accordance with BS EN 1317-2 in load classes N1 and N2.
-
Barrier can be digitised to allow monitoring of site events, such as impacts or incursions.
Certified to Industry Safety Standards
The minimum tested length, i.e. the minimum length required on site, makes SVEA a high-performance vehicle restraint system as it requires less equipment than other products on the market. N1 compliance is achieved with just 28.5m of SVEA installed while N2 compliance requires 34.2m. Many other barrier products require at least 60m to be installed.
CE-certified and crash-tested in accordance with BS EN 1317-2 in load capacity classes N1 and N2, SVEA guarantees maximum safety in the minimum of space.
Efficient installation and modular expansion mean the SVEA Barrier System sets the standard for urban traffic protection.
SVEA SoundPanel Options
The SVEA Barrier comes with a range of noise, anti-climb and visual protection panels which fit seamlessly into the barrier, creating a quieter and safer working environment. The SoundPanel significantly reduces noise coming from construction sites and the immediate vicinity, whilst at the same time preventing climbing and unauthorised access to restricted areas.
